Bobcat Delivery to Fujairah and Dibba: Route and Access

Published by UAE Equipment Rental 3 min read Updated

Fujairah and Dibba are on the east coast, on the other side of the Hajar mountains from Dubai. That makes delivery a planned trip rather than a quick local drop, and it changes how a Bobcat booking should be arranged. Sites here also range from coastal plots with loose sand to rocky ground inland, which affects what the machine can do.

Treat delivery as part of the job

Transport to the east coast takes a significant part of the day. Short jobs rarely justify the trip on their own, so describe all the work you have and ask whether it can be done in one visit. For jobs longer than a day, ask whether the machine can stay on site rather than returning.

Agree the timing in advance

Book early rather than on the day, and agree an arrival window that allows for the journey. Ask the team to confirm the evening before, and confirm from your side that the site is ready: gate open, unloading area clear and a contact on site.

Describe the ground carefully

Coastal plots often have deep, loose sand that is hard work for a wheeled loader; inland sites may have rock and gravel that wear buckets and tyres and may need breaking before loading. Photos of the ground, and a note on whether it is dry, wet or compacted, help the team judge what the machine can achieve in a day.

Know where the material goes

If material must leave the site, arrange the tipper locally and agree its timing, so the loader is not waiting for a truck that is travelling a long way. If sand or soil stays on site, show where it is to be placed or spread.

Access on hillside and rural plots

Some plots are reached by steep or unpaved tracks. Check whether a transport truck can reach the site and turn, and where it can unload on level ground. Send a photo of the last part of the access road.

What to send

Map pin, photos of the access road, the gate and the work area, the ground type, the work and rough quantity, where material goes, how many days you expect, and the preferred dates.
