How Bobcat transport works
The CAT 226B we supply weighs about 2.6 tonnes, so it travels to the site on a transport truck, is unloaded where the truck can stop, and is then driven to the work area by the operator. That gives every booking two truck journeys: one to deliver the machine and one to collect it. The operator comes with the machine.
The truck needs somewhere to stop and unload. If the street is narrow or the gate opens only at set times, say so when you ask for the quote; the site access checklist lists what to photograph and measure.
Typical delivery charges by emirate
As a guide, these are typical UAE market charges for one transport trip, from suppliers’ published rates checked in September 2026. They are not our price list. Your written quote depends on the distance, the timing, the length of the booking and the site access.

Delivery and collection are two trips
If the machine is delivered in the morning and collected the same afternoon, both trips fall on one day. If the job runs over several days, collection happens at the end. Ask how each trip is charged, and whether collection can be brought forward if the work finishes early.
Timing and waiting
Early starts, late finishes and fixed arrival times can limit which trucks are free. A truck that waits at a closed gate, or behind a blocked road, adds cost without moving the job forward. Confirm the site is open and the route is clear before the truck sets out.
Moving between sites
If the machine has to move to a second site during the booking, that is another transport trip. Mention it at the start so it can be planned into the day and priced openly.
How to keep transport cost reasonable
- Group the work so the machine does every task in one visit instead of several short bookings.
- For consecutive days on the same site, ask whether the machine can stay overnight rather than travel back each day.
- Prepare the site before the truck arrives: a clear unloading spot, an open gate and a contact who answers the phone.
- Send a precise map pin for the gate, so the driver does not lose time finding the entrance.
