Motorcycle Towing Dubai and UAE: What to Send Before Pickup

Published by UAE Equipment Rental 2 min read Updated

Whether a motorcycle has broken down, is moving to a new home or needs to reach a workshop, the safest way to move it is on a truck, secured upright. A few details sent in the first message let the transport team bring the right vehicle and equipment and avoid a wasted trip.

Describe the motorcycle

Give the make, model and approximate weight, and say whether it is a sports bike, a cruiser, a scooter or an off-road bike. Heavy touring bikes and small scooters need different handling and securing.

Does it run and roll?

A bike that runs can often be ridden or pushed onto the truck with a ramp. One that will not start but still rolls can be pushed. A bike with a locked wheel, a flat tyre or accident damage needs more people or equipment to load. Say which applies, and whether the keys will be available.

Where exactly is it?

Give a map pin and describe the spot: street parking, a basement car park, a building’s ground floor or a roadside. Basement car parks often have height limits that a truck cannot pass, so the bike may need to be brought to the entrance. Mention any building security or access rules.

Where is it going?

Give the destination and the contact who will receive it, for example the workshop or the new address, and the hours when they can accept it.

Before loading

Take photos of the bike from all sides to record its condition. Remove loose items such as bags and phone mounts. Make sure the bike’s documents are available if the receiving workshop needs them.

Information to send

Make and model, running or not, rolling or not, keys available, pickup pin and parking location, destination and contact, and preferred time.
