Road freight within the UAE is quick to arrange when the transport team knows exactly what is moving, from where, to where and when. Most delays come from missing details: a load that does not fit the truck, a receiver who is not ready, or a site the truck cannot enter. This guide shows how to prepare a road freight request so the right truck arrives.

Describe the goods
State what the goods are, how they are packed (pallets, boxes, crates, loose), the number of pieces, the total weight and the largest single item’s dimensions. Mention anything fragile, temperature-sensitive or unusually shaped.
Choose the truck from the load
Our cargo services include light trucks, heavy trucks, refrigerated trucks and specialised trucks. A few pallets suit a light truck; full loads of building materials need a heavy truck; chilled or frozen goods need a refrigerated truck; oversized or unusual loads need a specialised vehicle. If you are unsure, describe the load and the team will propose the truck.
Pickup and delivery details
Give exact map pins, the contact at each end, and the hours when each site can load and receive. Industrial areas, malls and residential towers often have fixed delivery windows and loading bays that must be booked.
Multiple stops
If goods are collected from, or delivered to, more than one location, list the stops in order with the quantity at each. Multi-drop trips need planning so the goods for the last stop are not loaded first.
Documents
Have the delivery note, invoice or packing list ready, and agree who signs for the goods at delivery. For goods crossing into free zones or other controlled areas, check the entry paperwork in advance.
Information to send
Goods and packaging, piece count, weight, largest dimensions, pickup and delivery pins, time windows, contacts at both ends, loading method and any special handling.
