Agree responsibilities at pickup and delivery
The sender, receiver and transport team need the same plan. A driver arriving with a truck does not mean a loading crew or lifting equipment is included. Confirm each end separately, especially when one site has a warehouse dock and the other has only ground-level access.
- At pickup: who prepares and counts the goods, provides equipment, loads the vehicle and confirms the load is ready for transport?
- At delivery: who receives the goods, unloads them, checks their condition and moves them from the unloading point to the agreed location?

Match cargo loading and unloading to the goods
